Introduction

Kien Giang is a range of land in the east south of country, 250 km from HCMC. It has 54 km of borderlines with Cambodia and more than 100 isles out of ocean boundary. The terrain of province is diversified of fertile delta, mountains, forest and sea those make it be potential of products and mineral resources. Closets to Thailand Gulf, Kien Giang has advantages of transport for international marine as well as airways with 3 airports. Over the year, average raining level is about 2.016 mm and with big capacity of sunlight that is tremendous energy for agriculture and sea production. Mainly occupied by Viet people that up to 85%, Kien Giang had found its ancient civilization of Eo Oc culture that used to be the transactional center of the Kingdom of Phu Nam around the eve and A.D. Some archeological relicts had been found at ancient burial area showing Buddha statues, stone Yoni with surface of 1.19 m2 and a stone linga of 1.1m high and 0.5m diameter. Kien Giang is also well known for the giant forest named U Minh and the air opened fishing port named Phu Quoc where special fish source is made.
