Introduction

Together with Binh Phuoc, Binh Duong is a new established province separating from former Song Be province. The province is well known for famous fruit gardens with durian, mangos teen, rambutan and jackfruit. Its terrain is almost of delta with basalt and rich soils for gardening and farming of vegetables and fruits. Traffic here is quite comfortable especially for waterways on various systems of channels and rivers. Historically, this is a part of ancient Gia Dinh territory with 300 years of standing and now it is just 30 km from HCMC. Population allocation is quite dense in the area that have formed a lot traditional professions such ceramic and porcelain, lacquer painting and wooden engraving. Located right at the north gateway of HCMC the province is one of most developed area. Touring in Binh Duong is an attraction over-landing the historical relicts site as well as excursing along fruits gardens.
